Our EX Light Down Anorak is an excellent option for the long-distance rambler aiming to assemble the lightest layering system possible.
It’s made from 7-denier Ballistic Airlight nylon ripstop - some of the thinnest nylon around - with a water-repellent finish. Despite its thinness, this fabric is exceptionally abrasion-resistant and will continue to perform year after year.
It’s insulated by 900 fill power EX Down, our most premium down, in sewn through baffles. The sewn-through construction keeps insulation in place as well as lightening weight. Speaking of weight-saving, we’ve purposefully kept design features to the absolute essentials. There’s a Dual-Axial hood that moves naturally with your head so as not to obstruct your peripheral vision, and there’s a kangaroo pocket you can use to warm your hands.
